To accommodate this, we allow cancellations under certain conditions: • Eligibility for Cancellation: You may cancel your booking for a full refund if the cancellation request is made within 24 hours of booking and if work on the distribution process has not yet begun. This provides a grace period where clients can reconsider or modify their orders without penalties, provided that the project has not yet started. • Non-Cancellable Services: After the 24-hour grace period or once work has begun on your distribution (e.g., uploading tracks to CD Baby, Inc. or setting up an individual account), cancellations are no longer eligible for refunds. This ensures that resources and time already allocated to the project are accounted for. Refund Policy Our refund policy is designed to be straightforward and protect both the client and the business, ensuring fair service. • Refunds Before Work Begins: You will receive a full refund if a cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking and no work has started. This applies to all distribution services, such as single, EP, or album distribution, and additional account setup services. • Non-Refundable Services: Once the 24-hour period has passed, or work on the distribution or account setup has begun, the service becomes non-refundable. The $2.99 fee for creating an individual CD Baby, Inc. account is also non-refundable once work has started. This ensures that time and effort already invested in the project are protected. Schedule Policy While SoundGate Distribution does not work on a strict appointment-based system, we aim to ensure timely service for all bookings: • Processing Time: After booking, we typically begin work within 24-48 hours to start the distribution process. Completion times may vary based on the volume of requests and the complexity of your project, such as whether you booked single or album distribution. • Communication: Once you book a service, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the next steps. Our team will reach out within the specified time to finalize the details of your music distribution or advertising plans. We will work with you to confirm timelines and ensure that all aspects of the distribution process are clear and transparent.
